2018 EXPOSIUM
The second annual exposium was another huge success! Following a similar format as the first exposium, attendees were exposed to Ovarian Cancer! It was both an emotional experience, as we heard first hand accounts from Ovarian Cancer survivors as well as educational experience hearing from a range of professionals regarding Ovarian Cancer and wellbeing.
Belles with Balls NL had the honour of donating $30,000 from recent fundraising efforts to OCRE during this event. More photos of the event can be found here.
2017 EXPOSIUM
OCRE’s first annual exposium was held on September 23, 2017. This one day event was the formal launch of the OCRE fund, which we at Belles with Balls NL proudly support. The exposium included a variety of speakers including an oncology nurse, gynecologic oncologists, genetics professionals, a pharmacist, sexologist, psychologist, dietitian and patients who shared their personal journeys with Ovarian Cancer. The event would not be possible without the sponsors- Faculty of Medicine, Memorial University, RJG Construction, East Coast Catering Ltd, Indigena Skin Care, Hickman Consulting Services, GRAND & TOY, Purity Factories Ltd., and Browning Harvey. A special thanks to RJG Construction who made a $25,000 donation to the OCRE fund during the event.
