Dr. Dawson is an Associate Professor at Memorial University and a Gynecologic Oncologist who specializes in cancer genetics and prevention.

Dr. Holly Etchegary is an Assistant Professor with Memorial University’s Clinical Epidemiology Unit in the Faculty of Medicine. Her research interests lie in the area of genetics health services and new genomic technologies.
Dr. Margaret Steele served as Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at Memorial University from 2016–2023, becoming the first woman to hold the role. An accomplished psychiatrist, researcher, scholar, and academic leader, she previously served as vice-dean at Western University’s Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry. Dr. Steele is also a professor in Psychiatry, Pediatrics, and Family Medicine, with affiliations in leading health research and medical education institutes.
